There is nothing more worse when someone sends you a link and its a shortened URL and you’ve no idea what that link could be, is it dangerous or even spam or an affiliate link.

I’ve created a script that lets you paste the shortened URL and submit, the real URL is then displayed, so then you can choose to either click on it or just close the page.
